The story must then be read and rated as 'inspiring,' 'useful,' or 'funny' (I know, I'm not very funny, good thing I surround myself with friends who are) and be commented on by readers. 40% of the score is based on the number of people that will read and comment on my story.
So far, the top story has over 400 votes and 50 comments so I have a long way to go - and the contest ends on April 24th, a mere 14 days away.
I appreciate that everyone's schedule is crazy busy and I am asking for 10 minutes that you really don't have to spare.

Artist Spotlight!
We have been looking for a photographer who captures the essence of Old Town for quite a while - and now we've found her! Andrea's photographs are a perfect way to commemorate your visit to Old Town (or your life in it). Andrea is taking no profits from the sale of these photographs. All profits are going directly to the 4Paws Rescue team which is a non-profit organization devoted to finding homes for older and hard to adopt pets.
Leigh Standley - Leigh and her Curly Girl Designs have been our customers hands-down favorite when it comes to greeting cards. Now there's been a whole new dimension added to the world of Curly Girl! Last month I told you about BB Becker. Shipment times were pushed back but I am happy to say that we will have his first shipment of merchandise next week and a second shipment during the first week of May. Sharing...A convenient & inexpensive way to schedule and send greeting cards.I have a very dear friend named Michelle Robey. We used to work together and have been close for over 10 years. Michelle has a wonderful heart and will always go out of her way to make someone's day. One thing Michelle is NOT is organized. She marvels at my knack for planning group travel and putting together large parties without a hitch. She knows that I try and make it a point to send greeting cards for birthday's, anniversaries, special occasions and 'just because.' She would ask me "How do you stay so organized and remember to send out these cards?" "I can never remember to purchase a birthday card let alone remind myself when to send it." A few months ago I noticed Michelle got on a card kick. For the first time in years I received a greeting card from Michelle. Hmmm...enter "Send Out Cards." Michelle has found this wonderful online greeting card system that has thousands of cards to choose from. She can choose a card, write a personal note (in her own handwriting font!) and Send Out Cards will print it, address it, stamp it and send it off! They also have a calendar where she can enter all special occasions and it will remind her to send a card. To make it even more enticing it costs less than $1 per card.
